On November 20 and 21, Aridditive will be present at VÈRTEX 2025 with an exhibition booth and participatory workshop to show how additive manufacturing is transforming urban design and sustainable construction.
Aridditive, the industrial startup emerged from the UPC ecosystem and a benchmark in 3D printing in concrete, will participate in the VÈRTEX 2025 congress, which will take place on November 20 and 21 at the CUBIC Building in Viladecans (Barcelona). This event, organized by Incasòl and the Department of Territory of the Generalitat de Catalunya, has established itself as a key space where innovation, technology and sustainability in the construction and housing sector converge.
What will Aridditive present?
During the two-day event, Aridditive will showcase at its booth a selection of real pieces from its new Urban Landscape catalog, a collection of street furniture and landscaping solutions created through additive concrete manufacturing. These pieces have been designed to offer contemporary aesthetics, reduce environmental impact and allow for a more agile and flexible local production, without molds or waste.
Why come?
The highlight of our participation will be the workshop “Design Strategies for 3D Printing in Concrete”, to be held on Thursday 20th at 1:45pm in the congress’ Espai Tallers. This hands-on workshop, taught by the Aridditive team, will explore how parametric design and large-scale 3D printing are opening up new possibilities for architects, engineers and urban designers. We will show real examples and offer conceptual and digital tools to address this new construction paradigm.
