Digital design
The project begins with a CAD model that defines proportions, use heights and the relationship between the tables and stools.
A 3D printed furniture set made up of two tables at different heights and four stools, designed to create a meeting area within Aridditive’s stand at Science for Industry.
At Science for Industry, the furniture itself had to be part of the story. Terra Meeting Set was not conceived only as a support or conversation area, but as a real-scale example of what cementitious 3D printing can bring to the design of spaces.
Aridditive developed a family of pieces made up of two tables at different heights and four stools. The project combines organic geometries, visible layer texture, integrated colour, polished finishes and custom-cut glass tops.

The project begins with a CAD model that defines proportions, use heights and the relationship between the tables and stools.

The bases are manufactured using cementitious 3D printing, incorporating surface texture and an earth-tone colour gradient.

Terra Meeting Set was installed in Aridditive’s stand as a meeting area and as a physical demonstrator of custom 3D printed concrete furniture.
The design is built around cylindrical volumes and lightweight support surfaces, seeking a balance between material presence and ease of use. The visible layer pattern is not hidden: it becomes part of the visual language of the set.
The table bases were printed with an earth-tone gradient, showing Aridditive’s ability to integrate colour into the pieces and develop finishes closer to interior design, landscape design and contemporary furniture. A surface texture was also applied to emphasise the relief and reinforce the material character of the piece.
The table tops were made of waterjet-cut glass, with a geometry adapted to the organic shape of the bases. This combination keeps the surface functional and visually light without hiding the printed structure.

Terra Meeting Set is designed to activate small spaces: a terrace, a lounge area, a meeting corner, a stand or a waiting area with its own identity.
The pieces are not only supports or seats: they bring texture, volume and a material presence that can define the atmosphere of a space.
The earth-tone gradient shows how cementitious 3D printing can incorporate colour and nuances without relying only on paint or post-applied coatings.
The texture applied during the design process reinforces the pattern of the piece and makes it possible to create specific finishes for each space or brand.
Although Terra Meeting Set was developed for a stand, its language fits many other contexts. It can be used as furniture for terraces, interior patios, spaces under pergolas or temporary canopies, hotel rest areas, rooftops, showrooms, corporate gardens or waiting areas in singular buildings.
Mold-free manufacturing makes it possible to adapt dimensions, geometries, colours and textures to each project. This opens the door to customised furniture collections for a brand, hotel chain, commercial space, institution or temporary event.
The same system can be developed as a temporary installation for events or as permanent furniture for outdoor and interior design projects. The key is to adapt weight, finish, surface protection and logistics to the intended use.
A project combining digital design, cementitious 3D printing, surface treatment, glass work and final installation in an exhibition environment.
Development of an initial CAD geometry to define proportions, the relationship between tables and stools, use heights and the formal language of the set.
Manufacturing of the pieces using cementitious 3D printing, adjusting toolpaths, texture, colour and stability during the production process.
Application of the colour gradient, surface treatment and mechanical polishing of the light-coloured bases to reveal the aggregate.
Integration of the waterjet-cut glass tops and installation of the set in Aridditive’s stand during Science for Industry.
The result is a family of pieces that solves a functional need within the stand while also acting as a physical demonstrator of Aridditive’s capabilities: geometric customisation, mold-free manufacturing, colour integration, surface texture and mineral finishing.
Instead of using conventional furniture, the stand used its own pieces to explain what cementitious 3D printing can do in interior design, outdoor spaces, hospitality and custom design projects. A direct way to show the technology at real scale and in use.
Terra Meeting Set was presented at S4i · Science for Industry, held at La Nave, the innovation centre of Madrid City Council located at Calle Cifuentes 5, in the Villaverde district.
We design and manufacture custom 3D printed concrete furniture for events, terraces, showrooms, hotels and corporate spaces.
