How 3D printing is starting to transform construction
As part of Barcelona 2026, World Capital of Architecture, “The Printed City” offers a unique opportunity to discover how digital fabrication and 3D printing are beginning to transform the way we design and build the spaces we inhabit.
The event takes place at Sutton Barcelona, a venue recently renovated using more than 340 3D printed concrete elements, allowing visitors to experience a real case of industrialized construction applied to architecture and interior design.
Architects, construction companies and collaborators involved in the project will share how the construction process was rethought to reduce execution times, optimize resources and open new possibilities for design and fabrication.
